Scan4 is ideal for introducing scanning techniques to students, with bright scanning lights, auditory scanning and 1 or 2 switch scanning. It also has sockets to connect battery operated devices and comes with two toy leads. Encourage switch users to make choices. Bright light, clear speech, and a real outcome (with toys connected). The device has traditional single switch scanning, starting at a realistically slow speed. It also has 2 switch scanning for the user who can manage 2 switches and have more control. In single switch "dwell" scan mode pressing the switch controls the scan, and dwelling on the button activates it. You can simply press a button to hear the message too. |
