Feelings Book
Designed by autism expert Emily Rubin, the easy to use Feelings Book fosters
the “Three “E’s,” otherwise referred to as: Emotional Identification,
Emotional Understanding and Emotional Regulation. Students explore 8
emotions from happy to mad. Each color-coded emotion has a 2-page layout
that encourages student interaction. The “Emotion Meter” helps identify the
intensity of the emotion, while the second page focuses on understanding
coping strategies. The laminated Feelings Book requires the student to write
or draw using a wipe-off marker.
