Powerhouse Roomate Plus ROOMATE PLUS controls X-10 devices such as lamps and fans as well as infrared devices such as TV, DVD, VCR and stereos. Opening doors, calling a nurse or attendant, adjusting a bed or heating and cooling systems are all possible with the ROOMATE PLUS. The system is flexible and scaleable, designed to control one room or the whole house while maintaining a simple direct access voice command structure and does not require voice training. Key Benefits: • No voice training • Voice control over lights, appliances, infrared devices (home entertainment components), X10 devices, heating and cooling, adjustable beds, and countless other devices. • The ability to use the wireless telephone headset as a microphone for your computer and voice recognition software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking or any other application that uses a USB microphone. (with optional OPEN MIC software) • Option for alternative access backup method such as a head mouse, trackball, switch or mouse. • An adapter allows the system to connect to any ability switch (i.e. head switch, sip/puff switch, chin activated switch, etc.) for “Wake up” activation of the system. • Auditory feedback of all commands. • Remote access. • The freedom to answer and place calls up to 500 feet from the base station. • The Headset is mountable and can be used in conjunction with our speakerphone option.
