			Overview

				Spell That Right provides
216 reproducible activities that feature words, phrases, and
abbreviations that students with limited reading and writing skills are
likely to use in everyday life. This life skills spelling program is
designed to provide instruction and reinforcement for students who need
to focus on basic lifetime writing needs. In order to create a
meaningful program, each spelling unit relates directly to a life skill.
Teachers can use Spell That Right as a complete
spelling program or as supplemental spelling work.
			Lesson Structure

Each two-page spelling lesson focuses on a list of thematically grouped
words. Practical topics teach students the abbreviations of states and
how to fill out a job application, write a return address, fill out a
check register, and more. Engaging activities include puzzles and
short-answer, fill-in-the-blank, and matching questions. Answer keys are
				provided.
			Series Contents

The complete series includes reproducible blackline masters described
below, conveniently arranged in a handy, three-ring binder format with
tabbed sections marked Book One, Book Two, and Book Three. The binder
includes 216 reproducible worksheets that can be used in any order. The
books do not necessarily become progressively more difficult. They
simply present three different sets of life skill words.
